The founders
Our story began in college, where we—Jayson and Katie—met and discovered a shared passion for adventure and exploration. From late-night study sessions to weekend getaways, our bond grew stronger, leading to our marriage and life in the corporate world. However, we soon realized that we were spending more time with our coworkers than with each other…that wasn’t exactly what we had envisioned for our lives.

Determined to turn our passion into a fulfilling career, we combined our love for travel and each other to create Wandering Bee Travel. We value personal connections and getting to understand our clients' and their relationship. That understanding allows us to curate unforgettable experiences, which turn into memories that become keepsakes for life. Afterall, life is too short to not spend more time with the ones you love.
Today, we specialize in creating unforgettable experiences for couples traveling to the Caribbean. While we're always happy to plan trips beyond the sun and sandy beaches, our love for travel began in the Caribbean. We planned a late honeymoon to the island of St. Lucia, where our relationship was transformed. The uninterrupted time together, the new memories we created, and the meaningful moments we shared on our journey strengthened our bond. We came home with a vision: if one trip could have such a profound impact on our relationship, how could we help other couples experience the same magic? So, Wandering Bee Travel was born.
We wouldn’t be Wandering Bee Travel without being real. We understand that vacations can be a luxury, especially in this day and age. And travel is different for everybody. Some love to travel in luxury, while for others, simply being able to travel is luxurious. Our travel journey started with a late honeymoon a year after our wedding. Weddings are expensive. Life is expensive. We know what it’s like to scrap and save every penny for a vacation. We want you to understand that anyone is capable and deserving of these experiences, regardless of your financial situation. We are here to help plan travel, even if that means having to wait a year to save up for it!
