Is there a benefit in using a travel agent Planning a vacation can be overwhelming—it eats up your time and, let’s be honest, a good chunk of your sanity. The weird thing about travel agents is we love planning travel! It’s like a giant puzzle we can’t wait to solve for you. So when you work with us, not only do you get an amazing vacation, but you also get your time and energy back to focus on what really matters. We’re here for you every step of the way. We don’t just book your vacation and let chance take it from there. If your flight is delayed, we’ve already been monitoring the situation and have a plan B ready when you text us. We genuinely care about our clients and have your back throughout your entire trip. And after your trip, we don’t just disappear. We’re always learning and on the lookout for new destinations and experiences. If we find something we know you’ll love, we’ll send it over for you to add to your bucket list.

How does a travel agent make money We do not upcharge vacations to make money from our clients. We actually earn commission from the suppliers that we book your vacation through, i.e. hotels, resorts, cruises, ect. These suppliers build in a commission percentage in every booking they receive, regardless if you book it yourself or through us. So, that commission is either kept by the supplier, or it goes on to pay us for our expertise. We do charge a planning fee. By charging this fee, it shows us that you are ready to book your vacation with us. The fee covers the time and effort we put into creating your itinerary.

Does Wandering Bee Travel charge a fee Just like you’d pay your mechanic, nail tech, hairdresser, or lawn care specialist, we charge a fee for our services. The time and care that go into researching and building a customized itinerary are worth their weight in gold! What the fee covers: Researching and customizing your itinerary, booking your vacation, monitoring your trip and transportation, providing travel guides, tips, and helpful destination info, offering support while you travel, and discussing travel documentation *It is all traveler’s responsibility to understand, obtain, and bring the required documents while traveling.* What the fee does NOT cover: We don’t book airfare. However, based on your preferred airline and location, we still do the research to give you a few flight itineraries that line up with your travel needs.

What are the disadvantages of using a travel agent? If you hate free time, having support and peace of mind while traveling, or a kick-ass vacation then our services are not for you ;)
